SCHOOL ATHLETICS

The wind was stampeding across my face. When we hopped up off the wet grass we were so excited but we had to go to the rest area. 
Time for discus. The first 6 people threw two times and I got 4th. Tug o war Te arawa vs Tokomaru 5 , 4 , 3 , 2 , 1 pull! Faces were boiling with hot sweat  dribbling down red spicy faces. We all pulled and then the back people fell over so the front people had to do all the hard work. We all dropped the slithering rope and ran back to our cone with huge smiles on our faces. 
Shot put now... I went 3rd when I got 5.54m. Yes! I made it into the top 6. I then got smoked in the top 6 at shot put. 

TUG O WAR

Yesterday a mystery arrived at our classroom. It was a gigantic box. What a mystery in our lovely class. When I looked in the mysterious box it was a tug o war rope. It was like a rubber snake. The tug o war rope was as thick as a pipe. We scurried outside to measure it since we have  been learning about measuring. So we got a metre ruler to see how long a metre was. When I finished we had to guess how long it was and I guessed 28 metres. When Floyd used the metre wheel it was 30 metres. Before lunch we had two games. Our first was furious. I heaved to pull the slithery snake. We won! I was sure Jaoquin had a grin on his face because we won... so now  he wants to win the next game.  As Mrs Ellis counted down from 5 I had a tight grip, 5 , 4 , 3 , 2 , 1 GO! 

My First Post

Today I learnt to create a learning blog. I've invited Mrs Ellis & Mrs T to be admin on my blog. I need to remember the importance of saving changes on my blog. I didn't know that you have to  use only lowercase letters for your web address. I learnt  how to change my background on my blog. I have learnt to change my font on my blog and I wrote my first post.
